Charity Events Ltd

Charity Events Ltd was set up in 2009 by 4 friends who wanted to help people whose lives had been turned upside down by serious illness.  

 

Inspired by Georgia - our friend’s 11 year old daughter who is battling a large and aggressive brain tumour - we were looking for a way to ‘make a difference’ to people like Georgia, while appreciating how lucky we were.


We chose the ‘Sick Children’s Trust’ as our first charity, because they provided a ‘home from home’ for Georgia’s family during her 5 month stay at Addenbrookes Hospital, and enabled them to be with her day and night, miles from home, when she needed them most.
